When we see a vehicle pulled over on the shoulder , completely stopped, we assume something has happened to the car. It may have a flat tire or a mechanical problem.
However, it could also be the driver who has suffered a fatal injury. If you feel unwell and there's no gas station nearby, you may choose to pull over in case things get worse.
That's what likely happened to a man on a highway heading toward Yurre, a town in Vizcaya. The Instagram account @dashcams.esp shared a video showing a car stopped on the side of the road.
In the scene, the white car can be seen from a distance crossing the road, leaving little room for others to pass. Those in the car filming realize that the driver is inside. "He's asleep," one of them comments, to the laughter of the others.
But this attitude has earned them harsh criticism in the video's comments section. Many claim they failed to provide assistance by not getting out and offering help in case something worse happened. Others have tried to defend them, saying they might have stopped after turning off the camera.
